INSIDE THE DEAL THAT REMOVED MUGABE FROM POWER IN ZIMBABWE
AMID REPORTS THAT THE DICTATOR WAS GIVEN A $10 MILLION BUNG,SKY NEWS SPEAKS TO THE PRIEST WHO ACTED MIDDLEMAN AS THE COUPLE UNFOLDED.
Robert Mugabe was the president of zimbabwe since 1987 till 2017. He began his reigning of zimbabwe as Prime minister since 1980 and was previously replaced by president Emmerson Mnangagwa. It is widely reported that the former president and his wife Grace could get a $10 million retirement bonus, immunity from prosecution and carte blanche to continue their luxurious lifestyle.
The opposition Movement for Democratic Change are furious claiming that it is unconstitutional stitch up that little more than a bribe to get the president step down. This resulted in rejoice of most zimbabweans.
The retirement of Robert Mugabe means nothing to me honestly. Mugabe is regarded the second most intelligent president in Africa following former Mohammed Gaddafi. He earned 7 qualifications, both in South Africa and in the United Kingdom.I think the main rule of life is that everyone for himself and he proved it.
They really had to rejoice, i also rejoice with them because its been a long walk to freedom. This really brought hard times at zimbabwe
